Unique Canine all started with our love for dogs. Meribeth & Wyatt, wanted a place where all dogs were served equally; somewhere owners of all different breeds could bring their dogs and feel at home, with no breed stereotypes.

At Unique Canine, we understand that all dogs are unique, and that every dog deserves the same great training, boarding, daycare, and grooming services as other furry canines.

What We Do

Obedience Training

Obedience training is more than teaching your dog to sit, stay, and roll over.  Unique Canine trains both you and your dog to work together, by teaching, practicing, and reinforcing good behaviors.

Working Dog Training

We help train dogs to become dogs with jobs. Those dogs might be K9’s for the police department, they may be a dog for service or they might be a dog that will be used for therapy work volunteer or professionally. We train these dogs to properly respond to commands that allow them to be an effective tool.

Our Mission

We started Unique Canine to give owners of all dogs, no matter the breed or size, a place where their dogs can feel at home, get the proper training, and have access to proper grooming services.  Unique Canine specializes in serving dogs that many other Boarding Services, Trainers, and Groomers sometimes overlook.

Our Team

Meribeth Broadway

Meribeth has worked in the animal field for over 35 years.She has worked in grooming salons, boarding kennels, veterinarian offices, and pet stores.  She has been a trainer at companies such as PetSmart and Paws For Play.  She is an approved AKC evaluator and a therapy dog evaluator. Her passion is to see the dog become the best that it can be by giving it the right tools to succeed.

Wyatt Broadway

Wyatt Broadway, has 10 years of experience working with dogs. He specializes in working with dogs that will become working dogs (police, service, therapy). Most importantly he educates owners on how to build a bond between you and your dog.

Jay Johnson

Jay Johnson, has been grooming for 6 years. She attended PetSmart Grooming Academy. She is a competitive and technical groomer. She likes to groom challenging and difficult dogs that other groomers often turn away. She also likes to do breed specific grooms. When it comes to services she goes above and beyond.
